Reports To: Service Manager

Job Summary: An ASR drives a delivery truck along an established route to pick up/deliver products and provide excellent service to customers. It is a physical, fast-paced job that involves manual labor and excellent people skills. As the face of the company to our customers, the ASR is responsible to build ongoing relationships with key contacts and to creatively resolve customer concerns while servicing businesses of all sizes and industries. Our ASRs know our customers so well they’re able to anticipate their needs while developing and growing relationships with customers. In many ways, our ASRs are running their own businesses from their trucks‒we’re looking for people who love to work hard and build relationships.

The workweek is typically a four-day route. The fifth day being worked is on an as-needed and/or required basis for training, team meetings, route coverage, renewals, locker room management, etc.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

-Complete DOT inspection as well as maintain the company truck for a clean & safe working environment.

-Execute delivery of new/clean products and pick up of used products on a daily basis in company truck.

-Track customer inventory for correct delivery and billing using company provided handheld computer; assist in issues concerning route customers.

-Complete end of the day administrative tasks including needed team or customer communication, unloading & loading of the truck, and preparing for next day's route.

-Actively drive customer retention and increase route revenue by expanding customer relationships.

-Other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:

-High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required

-2-3 years driving/delivery, customer service, or sales experience preferred

-This is a physical job. All ASRs must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted, and be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, twist, lift, push and walk

-Must be able to drive a truck/step van with ease and be able to sit for extended periods of time while driving the delivery truck

-Ability to remain organized, multi-task and balance incoming customer requests/issues in a fast-paced environment

-Must be able to use a computer, phone, calculator, printer, and copier

-Requires a For-Hire Endorsement.

-21 years of age, preferred

-Must pass a DOT physical and a drug/alcohol screening prior to employment.

-Exposure to outside air temperatures during all seasons, including extreme heat/humidity during summer months and extreme cold during winter season.

-Travel to outlying Wildman facilities as needed.
