JOB DESCRIPTION

  • 90% at a desk designing/quoting systems 10% in front of customers with sales reps providing technical solutions.

  • Respond to quotation inquiries from sales reps and customers.

  • Reviews specifications and job requirements.

  • Create preliminary quote P&IDs.

  • Create preliminary Valve and Instrument list for pricing.

  • Spec out and create Preliminary Control Panel and PLC Bill of Materials for pricing.

  • Estimate steel and labor cost.

  • Create final quotation with ICC datasheets specifying the system you have selected for the customer’s specific application.

  • Create revisions to quotations as requested by customer.

  • When sales are won create a clear scope document and hand over to Project Management for execution of project.

  • Stay up-to-date with vendors to know pricing and lead time of components.

  • Review projects after completion to confirm actual profit margin met your estimate and adjust next quotes as necessary.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Basic Requirements

  • Experience in Applications Engineering
  • Hands-on hard-working mentality.

Preferred Requirements

  • Engineering Degree -or- 2-years’ experience in Applications Engineering.

Additional Information

  • ICC is a drug and alcohol-free workplace.

Pay / Hours / Benefits

  • $70k/yr - $110k/yr Base
  • Plus 10% - 15% Bonus Target (Sales dependent)
  • Three (3) weeks Paid Time Off (PTO/Vacation).
