We are the elite 100% Organic Chicago Juicery, looking for a Kitchen Manager to supervise daily back of house juice production operations. Kitchen Manager responsibilities include supervising the juice, produce, made-to-order & oven prep, maintaining a fully-stocked kitchen inventory and complying with safety and cleanliness standards. To be successful in this role, you should be able to manage our kitchen staff and guide them to consistently deliver quality product in a timely manner. Ultimately, you will ensure recipes are properly executed; prepped, mixed, bottled and stored so our customers have a consistent & pleasant experience.


  • Manage kitchen staff and coordinate production plans
  • Supervise juice prep, mixing, bottling and cooking
  • Check each batch for accuracy and temperature
  • Ensure consistent portion sizes
  • Schedule & plan kitchen staff shifts
  • Plan execution of menu items in collaboration with the General Manager
  • Order food supplies and execute maintenance for kitchen equipment
  • Train kitchen staff on prep work, bottling and packaging techniques
  • Store food products in compliance with safety practices
  • Keep weekly and monthly reports
  • Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area


  • Proven work experience as a Kitchen Manager, Production Manager or Chef
  • Hands-on experience with planning or executing menus and ordering ingredients
  • Knowledge of a wide range produce prep
  • Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Conflict management abilities
  • Ability to manage a team in a precision & detail-oriented work environment
  • Flexibility to work during days and weekends
  • Certification from a culinary school or degree in Management is a plus

Pay: From $52,000.00 per year
