Mammography Technician

Randstad Healthcare is hiring for a Mammography Technician in the Atlanta area with a well-known facility.

• Permanent Position
• Start early-to-mid December
• M-Th 8 hour days, Friday half-day (38-40 hours per week)
• Pay range is wide ($30 - $45/hour) but client states most people start in the $30-37/hour range. Their average pay rate for this position is $34.03/hr.
• No vaccine requirement at this time
• PowerShare software experience is a plus
• 3 years of OB experience preferred
• Must be certified
• MUST BE KNOWLEDGABLE WITH NQSA- Mammography quality standards/ guidelines (anyone certified would know these)

We seek an individual who can maintain production and quality of mammograms by following established standards and procedures and determining necessary adjustments for optimum imaging results. The candidate will be able to operate a mammography unit to produce images of the breasts for diagnostic purposes under the direction of a physician procedure to patient, positions and immobilizes patient's breasts in unit, observes during scans, use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations to ensure safety of patient and staff, and a list of other responsibilities as well.
