Survey Equipment Repair Technician

ConSurv seeks to hire a career-oriented individual to develop into a successful Survey Equipment Technician to repair and calibrate construction lasers & optical surveying equipment. These are precision instruments that Contractors, Engineers and Land Surveyors use to divide land, grade construction sites, layout and level concrete etc.

What you’ll do as a Survey Equipment Technician:

• Test, calibrate, troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, reassemble and clean equipment and their carrying cases
  
  
• Estimate repair and document work done
  
  
• Create proposals and invoices
  
  
• Write up and enter new service orders
  
  
• Establish customer relationships by initiating contact and discussing estimates and necessary repairs
  
  
• Answer inbound phone calls

In addition to STRONG communication skills, our Surveying Equipment Technician must have the following:

• Excellent mechanical and technical aptitude
• Good electronic skills
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License
• Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs
• Satisfactory results from a background/employment history investigation and drug screening
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills
• Strong time management skills
• High level of attention to detail

Starting compensation is based on experience. 90 day review will be given with possible salary increase.
