Dessert Assistant

We are a new company now featured on DoorDash looking to expand our team! We are looking for a Dessert Assistant to prepare different types of desserts including banana pudding, chocolate covered strawberries, cheesecake stuffed waffle cones and more! Baker responsibilities include prepping all menu items, mixing dough, preparing fillings and glazing desserts prior to finish. Ultimately, you will make sure we offer fresh and delicious goods to our customers! We are open on Saturday’s and Holidays only! (Holiday hours are from 9am-3pm)

Responsibilities

• Clean kitchen equipment and tools before use
  
  
• Weigh other ingredients to prepare items
  
  
• Help icing on all desserts

• Prepare custom-made orders for catering events based on customers’ preferences (e.g. themed cupcakes)
  
  
• Supervise and help coordinate bakery crew to have product ready for opening hours.

Skills

• No experience required
  
  
• Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and oven
  
  
• Understanding of food safety practices
  
  
• Excellent time-management skills
  
  
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
  
  
• Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude
  
  
• Flexibility to work in early morning
  
  
• Serve-safe certified, or willing to obtain

Job Types: Part- time

Pay: $80 total; will increase Nov.
