Health and Wellness of Carmel is a Functional Medicine clinic in Carmel, Indiana. We are looking to add passionate, hardworking, team-oriented Registered Nurses to the team! This is an exciting opportunity to pursue a job in a fast-growing, innovative clinic. Open weekdays only - no weekends, no holidays. Nurses work four 10-hour shifts (7:30 AM- 6 PM) per week.
Qualifications
Must be a Registered Nurse with current Indiana licensure within 6 months of hire, required
Passion - must have a strong interest in Functional and Integrative Medicine, required
Adaptable - must be comfortable working in an ever-changing environment, required
Typing/Transcribing Skills - must be an excellent listener and typist, able to type at least 65 wpm, required
Self-Confidence - must be confident as a nurse and comfortable making quick decisions Independence - must work well within a team but also thrive working independently, dedicated to following through on tasks to completion, required
Self-Starter - must take initiative to do what is needed, not waiting for direction, required
Communication Skills - strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to be successful in this position, required
Job Duties
Prepare patients to be seen by providers in the office
Transcribe providers' recommendations and plan into the EHR
Order, track, and monitor prescribed procedures, tests, and diagnostic imaging
Educate patients on procedures and tests
Coordinate patient care across all areas of the practice
Manage patient documents - review, sort, name, and ensure filed correctly in the EHR
Deliver excellent service to every patient, every time

Training includes education on functional and integrative medicine modalities, therapy administration protocols, energy therapy, alternative medicine, and how to combine traditional medicine methods with functional medicine for the best patient outcomes.
