Full Job Description
One of Arizona’s most respected counties is looking for Detention Officers for immediate hire. Relocation assistance provided! This is a permanent, full time, long term career opportunity in the criminal justice field. Pay starts at $20.50/hr for no corrections experience, and will pay up to $30/hr with prior or state/county/local corrections or detention experience.
Former military, law enforcement, security or corrections experience highly valued.
There is room to advance through the ranks: Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain – or take several different exciting career paths with in the unit.

Job Requirements:
- NO VACCINE required at this time
- Relocation to the Phoenix area (assistance provided)
- Minimum 18 years old
- Driver’s License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Eligible to work in the US
- Ability to pass physical fitness test during academy
- Ability to pass background investigation
- Ability to pass drug test
- Must not have used marijuana within 9 months, or narcotics within 3 years.
