Howerton Surgical Center has a RN Charge Nurse position available. We are seeking a full-time, experienced, RN Charge Nurse to work in pre, intra and post-op areas. The RN Charge Nurse must possess excellent communication, organization and leadership skills. The RN Charge Nurse must also be competent in making quick decisions, evaluating the quality of patient care, resolving conflicts and anticipating problems before they arise. RN Charge Nurse Qualifications:
RN License, current
Excellent communication skills
Excellent Leadership skills
Ability to multi task
Comfortable working both independently and within a team
Outpatient surgery center experience preferred
Bilingual a plus
Job Responsibilities:
Direct patient care with patient during pre and post op
Treats patients and all families of patients w/ courtesy, respect, kindness and compassion.
Charting must be accurate, legible, dated, and timed.
Maintains and protects patient confidentiality.
Demonstrates professional and respectful behavior to patients and all staff
Complies w/ regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
Utilizes computer systems effectively and efficiently for optimal patient care.
Ensures clean, orderly, and functional work environment.
